I left Metter ,Georgia and somehow ended up in Texas, in a home for misplaced children and unwed mothers, Thissle Hill on Pensylvania Ave, in Ft. Worth, Texas. John Kennedy, my father was the owner and President of Globe Aircraft Corp. Nearly 800 Swifts are flying and registered today. This airplane is hanging in the Smithsonian Museum. A wonderful commentary as to the longivity and quality of the Globe Swift.
